How to connect Kilo Code to Apily

Kilo Code — the VS Code extension with an agentic mode — is configured like any OpenAI-compatible provider: Apily's base URL, a key and a model ID.

Tool
Kilo Code OpenAI-compatible
Base URL
https://apily.pro/v1
Key
apily_your-api-key
Provider
OpenAI Compatible (extension panel)

Requirements

  • VS Code (or a compatible editor) with Kilo Code installed from the Marketplace.
  • An Apily API key from your account at apily.pro.

Configuration

  1. Open the Kilo Code extension panel and go to provider settings.
  2. Pick OpenAI Compatible from the provider list.
  3. Base URL: https://apily.pro/v1
  4. API Key: apily_your-api-key
  5. Model ID: gpt-5.6-sol (or any other model from the Models page in your Apily account), then save.
  6. Send your first message in the chat. Agentic mode uses the same provider — requests go through Apily too.

Settings live in the VS Code profile; if you use several profiles, set the key in each one.
