How to connect Cherry Studio to Apily

Cherry Studio is a desktop chat client for Windows, macOS and Linux. It is added as an ordinary OpenAI provider — with one quirk: the API address must end with a slash.

Tool
Cherry Studio OpenAI-compatible
API address
https://apily.pro/v1/ trailing slash required
Key
apily_your-api-key
Keep the trailing slash. Cherry Studio appends v1 to addresses that don't already end with /v1/. Entering https://apily.pro/v1 (no trailing slash) makes the client call /v1/v1/chat/completions and fail with 404. Use exactly https://apily.pro/v1/.

Configuration

  1. Open Settings → Model Providers and press + Add.
  2. Choose the OpenAI provider type and name it, e.g. Apily.
  3. API Address: https://apily.pro/v1/ — with the trailing slash.
  4. API Key: apily_your-api-key
  5. Add models by ID (e.g. gpt-5.6-sol, claude-opus-5, deepseek-v4-flash-0731) and enable the provider toggle.
  6. Open a new chat and pick an Apily model.
