What is Apily?

Apily is an independent multi-provider AI infrastructure API for developers, AI SaaS teams, and AI product builders. It gives you one API key and one billing account for supported leading AI models available in the live Apily catalog.

Why use Apily instead of connecting to each AI provider separately?

Apily gives you one integration point for supported models and providers. You can test different AI models, keep your model choice flexible, and manage usage through one account instead of maintaining a separate API key, billing flow, and integration for every provider.

Which AI models and providers are available on Apily?

Availability changes over time. The live model catalog is the source of truth for current model IDs, providers, prices, supported API formats, context limits, and availability. The catalog may include models from providers such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, xAI, and other available providers.

Does Apily support OpenAI-compatible and Anthropic-compatible APIs?

Yes. Apily supports OpenAI-compatible and Anthropic-compatible API formats for supported models and use cases. Endpoint paths, request formats, parameters, and model availability depend on the compatibility layer. Check the documentation for the selected model before connecting your application.

Is Apily the official API of OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, or xAI?

No. Apily is an independent multi-provider AI API platform and is not the official API of OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, xAI, or any other listed model provider unless explicitly stated. Requests are processed through upstream providers, and their applicable terms and policies may apply.

How does Apily protect my data and sensitive business payloads?

Connections to Apily are encrypted in transit. Sensitive business payloads are not stored as permanent application data by Apily. Requests still pass through upstream providers to process the selected model, so you should review the applicable provider terms and avoid sending secrets, passwords, API keys, or unnecessary personal data in request content.

What happens if an AI request fails or an upstream provider becomes unavailable?

For supported models with more than one available upstream source, Apily can automatically retry the request through another available source using fallback routing. Fallback depends on the selected model, request type, provider availability, technical limits, and compatibility. It does not guarantee that every failed request will succeed or that every model has an alternative source.

How does Apily billing and AI API pricing work?

Apily uses prepaid, usage-based billing. Add funds to your balance, select a supported model, and charges are calculated from the published model price and the actual usage recorded for your requests. Prices may vary by model, usage type, context tier, and provider conditions. There is no subscription requirement to use the API.

How much do I need to add to start, and where can I see current prices?

The minimum top-up is $5. You can choose an available top-up amount or add a custom amount from $5. Current AI model prices, model IDs, supported formats, context limits, and availability are shown in the live model catalog. Any applicable first-top-up bonus is shown in checkout before you confirm payment.

I could not find the answer to my question. What should I do?

Please contact Apily Support. Include the model name, endpoint, request type, and a short description of the issue. Do not include API keys, passwords, or other secret credentials in your message.

One API layer for the models your product needs.

Stop maintaining a separate key, billing flow, and integration for every model provider. Apily gives AI SaaS teams and developers one place to connect supported leading models, compare current usage prices, and switch models without rebuilding the product around a single upstream provider.

Put your AI infrastructure on a more flexible cost base.

Start with one Apily API key, connect a supported model, and pay for the usage your product actually generates. Build with familiar API formats, keep model choice flexible, and add balance when you are ready.

See what your AI workload costs before you scale it.

Compare the same illustrative workload across selected supported models, then check the live catalog for current usage prices and pricing details. Apily uses usage-based pricing with a prepaid balance, so you can test a real request before committing to a larger budget.
